The partnership we have with our local parents is key to our work.

Parent Consultations & Chat for Change
We consult with parents through questionnaires and 'Chat for Change.' Three times a year we spend a short time during sessions talking with families specifically about the types of activities the centre offers. Parents can raise any concerns or let us know if there is something they are interested in.
We have a volunteer who is our Parent Champion who acts as a voice for parents at our 'Local Advisory Board' meetings. Our advisory board is made up of staff and local professionals e.g. Health Visitors. The role of the Parent Champion is to act as a link between the community and the centre.
The group meets just three times a year. Our Parent Champion also attends these meetings, explaining the views and ideas of families. Our Parent Champion volunteers at least once a week at the centre.
